    not sure if this is correct or not but i thin it's missing a "/" for the "-o" option.
    Shouldnt it be "$NODEDIR/dosemu_boot.log" ?

    cmd=/usr/bin/env $TERM HOME=$CTRLDIR QUIET=1 DOSDRIVE_D=$NODEDIR NODEDIR=$NODEDIR $DOSEMUBIN -d $NODEDIR -d $XTRNDIR -I"video { none }" -I'keystroke "\n"' $VIRTUALCONF -f$DOSEMUCONF -E$EXTBAT -o$NODEDIRdosemu_boot.log $EXTLOG

    also, if you can, some screenshots on how you setup the external programs>online programs part for dosemu as the wiki is also missing information on this as it pertains to linux and dosemu as it only "assumes" you're runniig windows

    other than that. great job

    I just followed the suggestions on the bug that was posted a couple weeks ago by Ragnarok. :)

    I'm honestly not sure, as I was just following the suggestions on the bug that was filed a couple weeks ago by Ragnarok.

    My understanding is that the only change you need to make for a program to run with DOSEMU in Linux is to set the "Native Executable/Script" option to "No" (same as with Windows, actually). In Linux, my understanding is that tells Synchronet to use dosemu to run the door.

    cmd=/usr/bin/env $TERM HOME=$CTRLDIR QUIET=1 DOSDRIVE_D=$NODEDIR NODEDIR=$NODEDIR $DOSEMUBIN -d $NODEDIR -d $XTRNDIR -I"video { none }" -I'keystroke "\n"' $VIRTUALCONF -f$DOSEMUCONF -E$EXTBAT
    -o$NODEDIRdosemu_boot.log $EXTLOG

    ok as far as this goes, no it doesn't need the / in the -o line like i thought. they didnt follow their own convention :D

    whaever creates the environment automatically puts in a trailing / after $NODEDIR which is fine that's why it looks weird.

    but i actually managed to get it working so that's a good thing... I have ZERO idea what i did but i can run barney splat now :D

    the only issue is for some reason ansi codes are not getting decoded by the terminal. so i need to figure out that for that program, but i'm going to try a different door game to see if it's just that one or not

    anyways.....

    back to screwing around and now i can have turbo pascal as a door LMAO
