    I think I do not correctly understand the logic of this ars from the
    dovenet area Synchronet Announcements "USER NOT 0" to posting.

    Does this mean "any user who does not have a number of 0"?

    So would it be that all users can make a post except 0?

    "USER NOT 0" means the user number is not greater than or equal to 0. So the user number would have to be negative to meet that requirement (should be impossible).

    Maybe the poster mean to write "USER NOT EQUAL 0". <shrug>
